"I have been hired to end your unholy life."

Midwinter frowned at the man's words and he spat back poisonously. "Just like a Golden, if you don't understand it then it must be unholy."

Hearing the mage's tone seemed to surprise the swordsman if the manner in how his posture straightened seemed to be any indication. "Oh? Then make me understand, are you a kind creature?" Midwinter gave a cruel laugh at the question, though asked somewhat cynically. "Am I kind? Heavens above us, why should I be? Has anyone shown kindness to me? No, they shun me because of my blood; they dispise me for what I am. A creature raised in the presence of hate rarely shows that thing you call kindness, so no I am not." Midwinter rested a hand on the bone of his hip and raised his chin a little in defiance to the swordsman. "I may be a monster in the eyes of the Golden and in the eyes of the Gods, but to judge my life as unholy when I live only to my nature is just pathetic!"

Ah...haha, just thought I'd share a little snippet from the first chapter of my original story; Midwinter is a being of the Silver realm, a dark and rather misunderstood realm. Don't get me wrong though Midwinter is indeed evil and cruel, the term 'friend' just means that you're at the top of his hitlist; the closer you are to him the more horrible your death shall be.

He's a fun character to write, actually quiet a few of them are; perhaps I'll post some of their info in my next journal entry. Maybe.

Anyway as the title says we've been having abit of a heatwave, not cool [duh] though today wasn't too bad it was still warm but it was pleasently so rather then 'oh gods' worthy. I used to live in the tropics and that got real hot but I haven't lived there for about 6 years now so a sudden heatwave kinda knocks me about.

What really bites though is that I don't have all that many warm weather clothes, so I might have to do some shopping when I have spare cash. IF I ever have spare cash, seriously I'm starting to hate the x-mas season; though I can't complain too much, its like the only time I bother buying gifts for people. I usually start buying in like the end of Sep and in Oct, but for some reason people think I'm crazy that its too early.

Bah! Jokes on them! At least I know I have time to find the best deals on the gifts I'm buying. LOL. I'm not a cheapskate its just y'know ze monies are tight so every little bit helps.
